Job Description

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, NDT or equivalent. EHSS:

– Be aware of OMS in general and be familiar with specific OMS related to the position and ensures full compliance to OMS.
– Attends a Tool box/safety meeting at the start of each shift to discuss EHSS planned activities and plant impact on personal health and safety.
– Provide proper feedback to the supervisor and colleagues for any findings or abnormality during performing the job to avoid Safety impact
– Attends EHSS monthly meeting and actively contributes to the agenda of every safety meeting.
– To have valid work permit authorization to perform daily activity
– Fully familiar with Hazards area and Emergency Response strategies in your section.
– Ensures before working in the area, you are equipped with right tools, equipment to perform the task safely.
– Communicates the Personal Behavior Observation/ findings to his supervisor and shares it with his colleagues.
– Maintain Excellent Housekeeping in the area and participate in housekeeping with shift team
– Frequently tour his area to check the area safety and all area work activities are performed safely.
– Follow health and hygiene practices as per company procedure in the area.
– Physically check the job site, before signing any work permit.
– Fully familiar with SHE critical device list and OMS requirements for defeats and communicate status of defeated SHE Critical Devices across shift.
– Complete his periodic schedule medical check.
– Be aware of SAFER interim actions related to the area.
