Job Description
Shall have a Diploma or High School. Must understand and speak English language. Shall have a minimum of Six (6) years of direct experience as Ladle Technician in Big Steel Plant. Must be familiar for Changing slide gate plates, repair of complete slide gate with required tools. Prepares slider plates, mixes, and applies mastic-sealing compound over the boss of the bottom plate, fits it and ensures good seal, locks in position. Assembles the slider plate, closes the slider, fixes stroke-limiting bolt and fixes the collector nozzle. Cleans metal/slag from the bore of plates, inner nozzle, and cleans the face of the porous plug using an oxygen lance. Changes the ladle inner nozzle, as necessary. Removes old nozzle using required tools. Gulf experience preferably in Saudi Arabia with Steel Plant will be preferred. Age limit 40 Years.
